We take great pride in providing a free personal War Grave Photo and Tracing Service second to none. We specialise in World War One and World War Two Military Graves and Memorials sites* . Canadian, Anzac, Springbok, Indian and other Commonwealth War Graves can also be traced

Almost one and a half million UK and Commonwealth Soldiers** gave their lives for 'a better tomorrow' in the two World Wars of the twentieth century. Over two hundred thousand soldiers without a known war grave are remembered, on memorials throughout the world. The greater majority of war graves are situated within the continental fields of France and Belgium. Very few families escaped losing a loved one and many families in the First World War lost several relatives.

It is now over 90 years since the commencement of World War One in 1914 and whilst the cemeteries and memorials are given over to the British people in perpetuity, (allegedly) the inscriptions on many of the war graves and memorials are eroding with the weather and will eventually become unreadable. Many relatives have visited cemeteries and memorials to pay their respects and taken their own photos, but many more for whatever reason have not.

IN FOREIGN FIELDS can give you a virtual visit to your relatives (usually a grandfather or a great grandfather's) war grave resting place by way of a photo, video, sounds and with personal comments recorded in the cemetery/memorial book. Wreaths or poppy crosses along with your personalised inscriptions can be left at the war grave or memorial and a photograph taken of them.

* Only CWGC War Grave and Memorial Images in France, Belgium, Holland and UK are currently available. Please contact us for other areas

** for clarity we use the word 'soldier' for the purposes of referring to the 'fallen'
whether they be male, female, civilian, airman, sailor, soldier or other.

We do not use library images for personal requests and any inscriptions handwritten
into the Cemetery register will only contain the text provided.
